I took this photo when my friend Ben was flying me for some aerial photography along the California cost. We were off the coast of Santa Barbara when we unexpectedly ran across these two humpback whales migrating south along the coast. I quickly took a few shots before they dove out of sight.

This is a male Baboon that I photographed out in the Serengeti. At the time, I thought he had an odd personality. He seemed more confident than the others. I was watching him, and he was watching me. He didn’t seem the least bit bothered and just sat there in the tall undergrowth slowly chewing on a grass stem.
