We often see animal tracks when we are out and about.  They are always interesting to study and try to figure out what the animal was up to at the time. These are from Black Bear, Racoon, and Mountain Lion.

 

I’ve always liked the super lush, green forests of the pacific northwest.  I’ve always liked the Olympic Peninsula, but I also like this area on the southwest side of Mount Saint Helens.  This particular forest was really neat because it had an open feel with a thick carpet of moss on the forest floor.  It was a very quiet place.

I had the pleasure of hanging out with this cool female Green Sea Turtle for quite a while.  I was out swimming alone (not smart by the way), and came across this awesome turtle.  She let me swim with her for a long time in this area of deep, super clear, water.  It was a neat experience.

There is such a cool abundance of variety in this world.  I love how different every place is.

There are so many zebras in east Africa that after a while, you start to get a little sensitized to them.  However, I think they are really pretty.  I love all of the complicated patterns in their stripes.

Clouds give such a nice feeling of dynamic scale to the world.

I took this photograph in a small, clear stream that was running through a green forest along the King River in Alaska.
