I’m amazed how California can be so dry, but all that it takes is one rain, and the arid land turns green and explodes into wildflowers. I took this photograph just a few steps from the San Andreas Fault in Carrizo Plain. It’s a neat area.

I know that place! Thanks for taking me there, though it was just dry when I was there! Maybe next time it will be after the rain!
