I took this photograph on a fresh, cool, afternoon in the Valle Grande in New Mexico. I’ve always liked the Valle, but on this afternoon after a nice rain, it was particularly beautiful.

The Valle has always seemed like it’s a bit other-wordly, and this photo really captures that.
