Thanks, I like that photo of the giraffe and the baobab tree, too. When I saw it standing there, I thought the scale was interesting. I took that photo in Tarangire National Park. It’s quite a beautiful place.
I think the bristlecone pines are really neat. I like the feel of being in a forest of them. When I think of all the things that have come and gone in their lifetime, they seem like such a great reference for patience.
Trees are hard to appreciate in terms of their size and scale, and they can be so tricky to get in a photograph! These photographs capture them so well, and I love the scale and reference and reverence I feel looking at the giraffe standing shaded in the Baobab.
I agree. I find the size of trees can be a bit tricky to capture in photographs. The giraffe standing in the Baobab shade made for an interesting scale reference. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the note. I think there is such great variety in nature. I find it interesting how different places can be over a short geographic distance of even just a season. I like the variety.
