I really like how the fog / cloud gives so much depth to the first photograph.

  I like that about the first image, too. It was such a beautiful sight, but I was worried that the composition would be a little flat as a photograph. As I look at the photo now, I really like the depth that is given by the mist and clouds. It also reminds me of how wet I got taking the photograph.
