This is a small almond flower from a tree in our yard. For this photograph, I tried a new focus method. I took several frames all at the same shallow depth of field but with each frame at a slightly different focal depth. I then stacked the frames on top of each other to produce a crisp focused image. It’s not the type of technique I would normally use, but as an experiment, I think it produced a very shape image.
