The power in huge waves is amazing. 

Even though they aren’t indigenous, one of the things that I miss most about living in Hawaii is the gold dust day gecko. Such amazing little creatures.

The Brooks Range in the Alaskan Arctic is a beautiful place.

I took this photograph near a camp that we stayed at just northwest of Kilimanjaro along the Tanzania/Kenya border.  The trees were full of energetic monkeys making noise and jumping from branch to branch.  It’s amazing how agile they are.   

It’s always nice to see migratory birds start to come back in the spring.

I always like the California coast in the evening.
