I took this photograph off the coast of the Monterey peninsula.  This humpback whale was repeatedly breeching. It’s pretty amazing to watch.  When the whale impacts the surface of the water it makes a booming sound that travels long distances.

This is an aerial photograph that I took of the river system entering the northern Grand Canyon system.  It sure is a beautiful, arid, and rugged environment.

This is an aerial photograph that I took along the northern coast of Maui.  The coastline is rugged and beautiful with jungle running down from the mountings to the clifftops overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

We came upon this beautiful male wood duck in a pond in the Rio Grande Bosque.  Wood ducks have such great color.

This is a Gold Dust Day Gecko that I photographed in Kauai, Hawaii. They have the most fantastic colors. They are fairly territorial, so they are quite entertaining to watch interacting with each other.

Hills freshly green from spring rain.  This is a low altitude aerial photograph that I took north east of Santa Barbara.

I photographed these two green sea turtles along the northwest coast of Oahu, Hawaii. The two turtles had completely different personalities.  The one in the foreground was very friendly and wanted to check out the clear glass dome on the front of my camera.  However, the turtle in the background (on the left) was very aggressive to us and the other turtle.
