We ran across this hungry black bear in the Yukon. It was in the middle of nowhere, but it didn’t seem to mind us at all. It was just happily eating a bunch of dandelions in the sun. It was quite a mellow animal compared to the large aggressive grizzlies that we also came across in the Yukon.

Another nice close-up! He does look mellow, but I still appreciate being able to enjoy him from a safe distance.
