We camped at this spot for a few days near Portage, Alaska. It’s a really pretty area with a lot of wildlife. When traveling, it’s nice to slow down sometimes and get to know a place a little.

Some of the far northern places were beautiful, but I think my favorite times on our journey were when we paused and stayed somewhere for a longer period of time.
