I had the pleasure of witnessing the full solar eclipse last week. It was the first full solar eclipse I had seen, and I was really surprised by what a cool experience it was. Seeing the corona of charged particles streaming away from the sun was really neat to see.

What an awesome experience. So glad you got to experience it first hand. It was 83% eclipsed here in NV .. more than I ever recall seeing before.

I am still so amazed at the difference between 99% and totality. And how much detail our eyes can pick up. It’s really one of the neatest experiences, and I’m kind of excited to think we can see another one in just under 7 years* (standard Kampner exclusions apply).
